What to Make of TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
